About the project
In the coastal settlement of Kineta (Attica), a single-storey residence of 79.80 sq.m. with a basement was constructed and installed. Initially, it served as a holiday home for its owners, with the prospect of becoming the family’s permanent residence in the near future.
The house was built using reinforced concrete and an external thermal façade insulation system (ETICS / thermal façade) with the MONOBLOCK method and falls under energy class B+. An additional structural element includes columns and beams, which were incorporated to reinforce the building so that an extra floor can be added in the future.
It is a heavy-duty prefabricated residence, in accordance with the Greek Reinforced Concrete Code (E.K.O.S.), the Greek Seismic Code (E.A.K.), and the Energy Performance Regulation (K.E.N.A.K.).
In terms of layout, the prefabricated house includes three (3) bedrooms (one master and two additional bedrooms), one (1) WC, a main bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen with living area.
The selection of interior materials—floor tiles, bedroom wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and paint finishes—was made personally by the owners from a wide variety of designs and styles offered by the company, ensuring that each project is unique, just like each client.
Results
The prefabricated house was installed on a basement structure, which was constructed by the company’s partner building crew, relieving the owners from the process of finding and selecting the appropriate contractor for these works.
The company’s partner builders undertook both the basement construction and the overall landscaping and external works—verandas, veranda canopies, boundary walls, railings, and the main entrance gate—delivering the project within the agreed schedule and, most importantly, within the predefined budget, without unexpected expenses or hidden costs.
