About the project
The church was constructed using reinforced concrete and an external thermal insulation system (thermal façade) with the MONOBLOCK method.
This prefabricated church was installed in a village in Corinthia. A key priority for the company was to ensure that, architecturally, the construction would blend into the area’s natural environment and harmonize with the landscape’s distinctive characteristics.
Inside, the main space of the church is separated from the sanctuary area by an iconostasis (templon) made of reinforced concrete. The iconostasis includes the Royal Door (Holy Doors) and one additional door for the needs of the Divine Liturgy.
Both the dome and the bell tower are made of reinforced concrete, cast in special molds, so that they form a solid and structurally unified construction.
Results
The church was delivered with a complete electrical installation (conduits, wiring, sockets/switches, main electrical panel), floor tiles selected by the donors from a variety of designs offered by the company, solid iron doors and windows with colored glass, and interior/exterior painting.
The construction was successfully integrated into the natural environment of the area, preserving the harmony of the landscape.
