About the project
In Lefkada, on a lush green hillside with an unobstructed sea view, a complex of three (3) independent tourist villas with a swimming pool was constructed. These are two-storey prefabricated houses, 83.40 sq.m. each, and each one has its own pool. The villas are separated by a low fence, ensuring the privacy of their residents.
The houses are built from reinforced concrete with columns and beams, using the Monoblock method, in accordance with the Greek Seismic Code (EAK), the Greek Concrete Code, the Greek Prefabrication Code, and the Energy Performance Regulation (KENAK), providing full structural adequacy and seismic protection.
Externally, the buildings feature a thermal envelope / external insulation (thermal façade) in accordance with KENAK, ensuring high energy performance and classifying them in Energy Class B+.
The project was implemented through a subsidized ESPA program.
Results
In terms of layout, the ground floor includes an open-plan kitchen–dining area with a living space, one bedroom, and a WC. Externally, on the ground floor, a semi-outdoor area was created with access from the bedroom.
A marble staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is one bedroom and an additional bathroom. Externally, because the upper floor covers half of the ground-floor footprint, a terrace is formed, offering an unobstructed sea view.
